1. Udane Juaristi. Gladys (2022)

Udane Juaristi (1985). A painter and muralist from Azkoitia, this Gipuzkoa artist is one of the big names on today's scene. Her career has included both individual and collective exhibitions at a number of local, state and international art galleries, she has won many awards, and has also featured at international art fairs such as Justmad.

The Azkoitia artist's work is inspired by several natural features of the Cristina Enea park's ecosystem.

Udane found inspiration in fauna and flora around the park and the river, due to the location of this piece in Cristina Enea and Urumea. The Azkoitia artist's non-explicit posture is that she also forms part of this ecosystem through her work, which will live on in this space next to its natural surroundings.

  • Mural of Reskate - María López & Javier de Riba

2. Reskate: María López & Javier de Riba. Bakoitza bere garaian

Reskate is Minuskula (María López - 1980) and Javier de Riba (1985), two artists from Donostia and Barcelona respectively. They have a long trajectory as a muralist team, and their work has graced the walls of many European cities.

The translation of Bakoitza bere garaian is "each thing in its own time", by way of a reflection on rural life and harvests etc., in connection with the mural's surroundings, and in some way their work also singles out the importance of those who work the land with their own hands.

8. Lidia Cao. Mari (2022)

Lidia Cao is a young muralist and artist with a distinguished international trajectory, since she has painted murals on all five continents.

The Galician artist draws parallels between Galicia's mythology and our own mythological legends, through the "Mari" personage. Lidia Cao often depicts women from the concept of rural Galicia, and so she again portrays a woman with the "youthful" semblance, overlooking the river Mari comes from.

Mythology and mythological personages are the main features of this mural by Lidia Cao, in a setting where the riverscape draws out the surroundings.
