THE MUSEUM
Industrialization arrives and with it, the ironworks give way to big factories. In this unique space, an old factory was converted into a Museum to show the relationship between art and industry by the hand of one of the most famous sculptors of the Basque Country, Eduardo Chillida, who came to Legazpi (known as the Iron Valley) to make his monumental sculptures which today are placed in many squares and museums around the world. This space keeps many of the blueprints and forging workshops of the sculptor, the machines of the Great Forge, modern audiovisual systems and interviews with workers, among other activities.
